I want say I vaguely remember Ben saying that parts of Mongolia may be considered as safe zones. The Tibetan Plateau, is the highest and largest plateau in the world. The average height is 14,800’. If you do an image search on google earth, all of the photos are of high mountain temples. Their creation story talks about the earth being covered in water until it slowly evaporated. They also said the dawn of humanity started when a monkey hooked up with a she demon, so…. I like the former story of a water covered earth better. Their high mountain fortress temples, makes me think their ancestors possibly knew about the cataclysms
