- This website is FREE for all to use - I absorb all the cost of operation and maintenance.
- You are not required to register an account to view public-facing content.
- You are required to register an account to post a comment or new thread.
- The forum software used is Xenforo, along with a handful of addons. It is the premier forum software (not a free or cheesy one)
- The website is hosted through a company owned by an acquaintance of mine on a VPS. Not a big name host, not subject to BS overlord type policies.
- There are private sections of this forum that are only accessible to manually verified members - we plan to do this in order to avoid a payment/subscription based method of maintaining a private group of individuals who take this very seriously.
- This site is not operated or governed by anyone other than the Administrators and Moderators.
- We plan to work alongside the Observer Ranch and the individual experts within the Pole Shift Community to bring you the best possible information and content feasible. Some of this may be withheld for the aforementioned private sections.
- Donations are accepted and appreciated, and will go towards site operational expenses. This is not a charity site; donations are not tax-deductible.
- Registrations are manually confirmed, so you may have to wait a bit before you can post.
- If you use a generic email (gmail, hotmail/outlook/msn/microsoft, aol, yahoo, apple/mac/icloud, etc) you will want to figure out the process for "whitelisting" and add this website to that list; just marking "not junk" is most often not enough. Free email services are notorious for putting forum emails into junk/spam/filtered folders.
- Note: I highly recommend avoiding all Apple-based emails completely for use on this site - you can't whitelist anything, they just make the decisions for you, so deliverability can be a major issue.
- You can use your real name if you wish. This helps people figure out who you are if you are also on social media.
- You can choose a "handle" if you don't want to use your real name.
- For your location, I would recommend listing your country of residence at minimum. Please do not include your full physical address. Future plans include a Members Map for verified users to find others, so providing your state/province and city may be useful in the future.
- The system will send you a verification email containing a link.
- You must click that link to activate your account and be able to post any content.
- If you do not see that email within a few minutes, check the junk/spam folder.
- If you need to whitelist our emails, this generally must be performed on the provider's site. So, if you use an app on your phone to manage your email (either the native phone app or the provider app), or even a desktop app such as Thunderbird, you may not be able to apply a filter or add an address to a whitelist unless you go to their full website - becuase that's where the filtering happens.
