Natural Anti Biotics

Hello, I do have a very serious question.

A couple months ago, my one teeth got infected ( got a root canal done now ), and I am really hoping I dont have another issue like this again ever. This is something that could kill someone really fast, as I found out from my dentist.

I actually had to make a trip to the hospital, I knew what was happening, to get anti biotics, as my throat was closing up from the infection. At the hospital I got an IV of anti inflammatory drugs, to bring down the swelling in my throat, and anti biotics to start on. I actually ended up going through 2 rounds of prescribed antibiotics, it was nasty. And I actually got a 3 round, didnt need them though, storing them for future.

Now they will tell you that the only way to beat a tooth infection is anti biotics, along with you blood going septic.

Is there any natural plants that are strong enough as an anti biotic that can look after these issues. As both of these situations would kill you or a community member.

Good question, they have tons of medicinal plant books out there. I know oil of oregano, and black seed oil combo anti microbial.

There are topical anti-microbials for treating things like wounds, but nothing comes close to antibiotics for systemic issues. Often an infection is so deep, that topical applications simply can't reach it, and so the anti-microbial has to be ingested and delivered via the blood.

The best you can do is provide the body with optimal nutritional support and take medicinals that are known immune system stimulants. But the discovery of antibiotics were revolutionary because there just wasn't anything else that was as effective.

The added problem for us, is that our immune systems suck compared to 100 years ago. There are many reasons for that, but the result is that an infection will kill us, while our ancestors would have likely survived.

This is something that I have actually thought about, and I do try and keep to natural ingredients where I can and my garden I am trying to grow fruits that help the immune system as well, I know we cant change certain things in our environment,

Hello... I only have two answers for this. There's an upcoming herbalist class on dental care Herbs for Minor Dental Health and this book has a lot of information on abscesses Herbal Antibiotics Did your tooth have an abscess prior to getting the root canal? If so, in an austere world, I'd try to have the tooth pulled. Then treat with herbal antibiotics orally and internally.

While we're on dental things...
I have been oil pulling with coconut fat every 3 days for a month. I started it to see if it would reduce the yellow staining, since it has a lot to do with the oral microbiome.

Although it hasn't had much of an effect in that department, it has had a dramatic effect in 2 other areas.
I've had a chronic gum sensitivity around one of my upper premolars for 2 years. I've tried flossing, mouthwashes, gum massage. The dentist took a look twice to see if there was a foreign body in there or something but couldn't really help.

But now it's completely gone. Can't believe it.

The second effect has to do with my back molars. The very back surface of both upper molars had become noticeably rough, and the dentist said it was my enamel that had worn away, exposing the dentine. Just old age wear and tear he said.

Well now they are completely smooth, and I can feel the enamel is back. It's thin, but it's back.

I think there is some merit to this oil pulling business.
