Good morning Observers. Thank you @Bud
We had a minor G2 magnetic storm from the CME. some induced aurora. Currently in a G1 magnetic conditions.
Things are still quiet. Mercury is coming out from behind the sun in CCOR-1 (see RED arrow)
No word on the 40+ water treatment plants across seven states hit by a cyber attack. Always have a way to get clean water.
Minnesota, Michigan, and Georgia have been explicitly identified. Mentions of South Dakota and Wisconsin. Leaving two states not specified. No list of affected water treatment plants. Be prepared.

This from SpaceWeather [Spaceweather.com - realtime news about the Sun-Earth environment] The downward facing tenticals are called sprites. They are a relatively new discovery. They were caused by an very powerful lightning bolt. A 157kA (157,000 amps at very high voltage) is five times norma. For us humans, 4,000 amps is HUGE. We move from wires to metal plates around 1,000 amps. 4,000 amps DC is a monster. Why? AC changes direction every half cycle. AC stops. DC does not. It is very hard to quench or stop an arc.
When Ben says "Thunderbolts of the gods" The lightning could be many order of magnitude larger than this puny thing. Much larger than anything we have seen. The atmospheric 'ring" or effects will be much grander.
Lastly, lake Mead and lake Powell are both near record lows. Germany's Rhine river is also near record lows. (affects barge traffic, commerce and electric power generation.)
WWBD? Ben would say: "Eye open. No fear. Be safe everyone"
