One of the tobaccos I grow is Punche tobacco. It originated in the New Mexico region and was used by the Navajo and Pueblo people in their ceremonies due to the high nicotine content.
The Spanish called it Punche (meaning punch) because although it is a mild smoke, it packs a wallop.
It's a small plant, and grows very quickly. Which is great for short season climates like mine.
