I stopped by the local farm and feed store today. These would make for an easy to move, easy to bury, metal free and less expensive shelters. Especially once covered in soil. They would also be a great way to hide your preps, store clean water and other investments. If there were certain metal items that you want to protect from the plasma discharge, these would be a great 1st line of defense as plastic insulation. It would also allow you to safely store metal goods not attached to your main shelter, in case they fail as solar insulation. I’m sure everybody is familiar with us saying “don’t store all your eggs in one basket“ . In a worst case scenario, have having some of these already prepared on the property, that you want to turn into your retreat, will allow you a safe, underground, temporary shelter in case something happened while you were still in the process of construction of your main Shelter. Each one has a man access hole on the top sometimes they have more than one hole. There are also side junctures where you can add a pipe to add in maybe a rudimentary air filtration system. I think this is a very excellent field expedient idea for managing and keeping your logistical supplies, safe and secure as well as having an emergency underground hiding pod. So far, I want to say that although it has been a while since I looked online, the largest septic tank I wanna say was something close to tens of thousands of gallons. Another consideration, besides plastic septic tanks would be one of the other variable water cisterns made of HDPE plastics.
I’d imagine that many people will do WHATEVER it takes, to take what they need from the weak. So why not act proactively and get ahead of the game? If you strapped many together side by side, I’d imagine it’d make a nice raft too! (LOL) (I’m kidding)..
