If any of us survive having the tools to create rope, would not just benefit ourselves for all kinds of various tasks, but it would also generate an income with other surviving communities as a great barter item. This is something I would like to definitely look more into especially if you could figure it out some kind of jig that had no metal parts. It would probably be very simple and rudimentary or you could possibly store the metal parts until after the flip or refine them from molten metals.
