ENLIL spiral is so quiet I almost hate to include it.
6.4 off M 6.4 - 49 km NNE of Kainantu, Papua New Guinea and another 3.0 in White city New Mexico.
Lake Powell getting some much needed inflow of water.
La Ninia getting stronger and stranger. Winter forecasts are getting updates, no major changes.
New tropical storm Fay in the Atlantic.
Cuba went totally dark. The people are living what we should be practicing - days without power. No fuel.
We had our first Drone on Drone fight. Two unmanned boats from Ukraine and Russia duked it out with the Russian boat being sunk.

Speaking of aurora, I recently heard from an astronaut that was on a recent expedition to the ISS that they have noticed aurora much higher up. I wonder why…

Now that is interesting. I assume you mean the aurora is higher in altitude (further away from the surface)
Glad they made it back. Last week an old US spy satellite FARA III disintegrated (blew up/blown up) Might have been hit by a micro meteorite. Upper orbit of 430 miles.

Correct, they noticed that they reached higher altitudes. I thought it was quite interesting.

That’s unfortunate about the satellite, adds even more debris in orbit. Thankfully that’s a ways out.

Thank you for the clarification. Wow. Have to ponder a while on that one.
You are right. 1978 Kessler Syndrome is a theoretical chain reaction where space debris in low Earth orbit (LEO) collides, creating more shrapnel that triggers further collisions until entire orbital bands become unusable
I'm hoping it was a pressurized fuel container or battery that exploded ripping up the satellite. Less we may have more micro meteorites riding the galactic Swiffer (electrostatic and magnetic current sheet headed our way. )
