There may be some time, perhaps even many decades after the flip, where many remnants of this modern society’s creations either melt, rot or rust away into oblivion. Especially since most, if not all types of manufacturing will have ceased to exist. Picture this; the object in your sight may once have been a car or truck and like many things is now just a molten mass. Although here and there, we may find a chassis with tires and wheels, that at least for a while might prove useful for moving anything from people or logistical supplies from point A to point B with the addition of pulling beast(s) of burden. There may be no easy way to construct a Pioneer days Oregon Trail Conestoga wagon, but with a community/family and enough skills and motivation, anything is possible. So, here are a few pictures that you can add to your library of reference materials. Although, surprisingly enough I do not have a book on wagon building. I am sure that there is some literary material available for anybody who is willing to do a cursory search through the Interwebs and the Library of Congress.
