WHERE ARE ALL THE BIRDS?!

I hope I am not the only one that has noticed a distinct lack of bird species. I have not heard a single chickadee call. seen a single robin or heard any geese flying overhead this year. In fact I only see 1 small bird species and they are invasive here. we normally have tons of small birds . I mean I'm in North Central BC. I love little birdies. I miss them so much. I hope they are elsewhere and not just gone.

I had forgotten to talk about how up to 400 geese will join into 1 massive flock to fly together along a route up here during the late summer months early fall. And one of those stops along their route is a swampy lake near my childhood home. I know the timeline when they will land there thanks to my late father and they did not come this year, or they re off on their timing to land. Which I do not believe would be the issue, unless they rely upon directional navigation to determine timelines en which to fly. I do not know if any one else that has kept track of this particular group of birds like myself. I have been watching for them in particular over the last 10 years. And they land like clockwork every year. It is amazing thing to experience. I sit crouched in the shrubs by the edge of the lake . And you can hear them coming like a semi truck roaring. Always at dusk. then it gets quite and you hear light honks from each leader communicating position and they fill the sky above you. their wings pushing the air down so close you swear you can reach up and touch them. it is the most spiritual experience. I cry every time. and they just keep landing for what seems forever. and then at the last there are always a few clumsy ducks following a ways behind which always makes me laugh quietly. I have been just beside myself that they are off schedule or not coming idk which. The university looked at me like I was on something when I tried to explain through tears they were not there. my son was snickering at how I sounded I guess I failed badly because I started getting angry when someone repeated pole shift?? back at me. I did not intend to start in on that but I guess it slipped out. so tin foil hatting it once again I guess. yee haw!

I had robins earlier this year. We have all the Canadian geese all year. I have lots of varieties of birds here in Colorado.

I had a friend point out the massive Forrest fires here rn will re route them. And most definitely delay them as far as the geese go. I have seen alot of humming birds who rely on the geese to migrate I do hope they will be ok.

I’m curious if they’re actually reacting to the fires or if they can feel something’s wrong because they’re very sensitive to earthquakes coming or fires coming type stuff because when I was in BC coastal waters they really seemed to know when a lightning storm was coming and bolted to the trees
How long ago was it you lived in Shawnagan lake bc because I’m curious if you knew Rick Mason who owns Mason store Mason’s beach and lots of other places all around there?

I have seen an opposite problem, I have been seeing way more birds and insects in my yard this year. And most insects are not the good ones either. I have normal wasps, black wasp, and some sort of wasp with a red butt. Also a lot more good bees though with them.

Are you living near a magnet vain of some sort? River maybe or an iron ore vain in the ground near your house?

Not that I am aware of. I have been building my garden with lots of flower and fruit bushes, trying to make it sustainable and usefull for medicine and body benaficial fruits

My grandfather used 2 coat hangers straightened out straight and a small 90 degree bend he hung onto so when he walked across the yard slowly it would suddenly twist across both rods !
That’s when he said this is where we dig the water well
Holy cow we dug 6ft deep and hit an underground spring that flooded the hole completely in about 1/2?an hour later so we had to dig it larger and put 3ft diameter concrete pipe down in the hole with a lid and rubber gaskets on everything so it built pressure up and never had to worry about water ever again buddy

So you might have a spring running underneath your house or close by it

Because water conducts electricity from the magnetic energy field that the rods picked up on as granddad walked over it

Now you mention it, I can't recall hearing a single chickadee here this year, and usually they are here all summer. We have lots of birds, so it is never quiet, but now I will have to pay closer attention to see who else might be missing.

We have had a few birds here that are new to this area. Sometimes I don't get it figured out what species they are before they disappear, but I hear the unfamiliar calls.

Years ago, there were big bullfrogs in the neighbor's pond and our creek and in the nearby river. They are all gone now. The only thing we have left is toads and tree frogs...

It’s possible that this is because of spraying chemicals in the atmosphere plus the magnetic field weakening so much faster than they expected lately is another reason why we shouldn’t think that the magnetic flips going to be 10-20 years away when they’ve never been witness to a solar flare that’s flipped our planets magnetic field 90 degrees like it’s already done thousands of times before!!

We have out typical amount of birds around here this summer. I've particularly noticed an increase in falcons. They have been nesting in my area, and I guess successive generations are now exponentially increasing.

This summer, I have been talking to crows. Paying attention to their communication and mimicking them. Crows and ravens happen to be more intelligent than chimpanzees, and act as natures lookouts. They remember faces, and communicate info about people to each other, which means a crow you have never met will know about you and what you're like even if it has never encountered you.

They could be useful allies, or dangerous enemies after the kill shot. Imagine creeping up on a kill and crows constantly blowing you cover. Or crows warning you of other people with bad intent creeping up on you...

I grew up on a 1,400 acre Mennonite farm in concord Ontario Canada and I had many different types of animals that most people wouldn’t even believe could be pets!! And yes crows are extremely smart animals and they fallow you everywhere you go so you are very capable of teaching them how to hunt for you or carry messages to certain people even! I even had raccoons that were so smart they learned how to play tag up in the barn beams when I was 11 years old and they could figure out how to pick gates open and they even figured out how to use doors around the barn and when they teamed up with the crows holy moly they were great hunters together and they actually shared their catch with the crows!
Barn owls are awesome security guards and can see for miles in the dark areas where they catch their prey! So getting any of these animals when they’re very young is the only way to teach them to trust you so as they grow up they become your family members because they will defend you to their death!!
