The new place is 2625 elevation, not high enough but closer to high elevation and ECDO theory said 2500 elevation is good enough. Ben's 'score' would still put us a 'medium' risk. We are way in the interior of the US, no trees for forest fires - I always considered that a big risk with potentially no ways to put out big fires, I'd rather risk a grass fire than a forest fire, not near any volcanoes but water is a concern. It's a teeny tiny town, population is 23, but it has city water. There is a lake but it's 10 miles away. Wouldn't want to have to go that far for water! I got a book on finding and prepping for water, hoping it has ideas.
